Kids build strength, self-control and confidence with Kspace boxing...but most importantly, they HAVE FUN! Boxing class introduces basic martial arts techniques through fun drills and games. The children learn how to stand at attention, respond to the instructor and take turns with other children. Younger students learn the foundations of the sport and the class format including how to respond to instructions. Older students will take a leadership role, learning longer combinations and practising high repetitions of kicks.
Clothing
Students use gloves for some periods and these are provided by the school.

Content
We teach the very basics, leading to ‘Light Contact Boxing’: Students practice in a controlled manner wearing appropriate safety gear, with high level of supervision and guidance – allowing extremely light contact against another player.
Our tiny children will also focus on ‘Cardio Style Boxing’:
No contact and practicing form, speed and technique.

About
Boxing is quite a young sport that originated in the 60s. It was first called full contact karate, while “karate” and the new term “boxing” was first used in Japan.
