Bread Making
Ages 4 to 7 years
Course Description
ASPACE is pleased to offer a hands-on, sensory-rich breadmaking class as part of our after-school programme.
This creative cooking course gives children the opportunity to explore the art and science of baking while developing practical kitchen skills. Each week, students will learn to make different types of bread from scratch in a fun and supportive environment.
Through mixing, kneading, shaping, and baking, children build confidence, independence, and an appreciation of food preparation, while also enjoying the rewarding experience of creating something delicious.
Learning Benefits
Breadmaking supports children’s development across multiple areas:
- Science: understanding yeast, fermentation, and ingredient transformations from dough to bread
- Mathematics: measuring, weighing, sequencing, and timing
- Language: developing vocabulary and following instructional steps

This “table to tummy” experience helps children understand where food comes from and encourages pride in their creations.
