Children love to manipulate clay, nendo, PlayDough and many other soft, malleable materials presented to them in this course. They enjoy mixing colours, cutting, pulling, rolling and moulding the materials in their hands. In Crazy Dough, children explore how these materials work and about the materials’ attributes and limits. They learn basic elements of sculpting such as line, shape, colour and texture, leading them to make figures and imaginative creations.

Clay sculpture and modeling encourages the imagination and visual thinking. Working with clay supports fine motor skills development, draws attention to detail, enhances knowledge of 2D/3D shapes and patterns, and builds vocabulary of textures and kinesthetic feelings.
