Dinosaur Discovery
For all the budding paleontologists, this is the club for them! There's nothing extinct about the dinosaurs at Kspace as each week the classroom is full of these "terrible lizards", from the fierce hunters and carnivores to the peaceful herbivores. The students are able to explore these ancient reptiles through a range of fun and exciting activities; digging into kinetic sand for eggs, building dinosaur skeletons, sculpting dinosaur bones, comparing footprint sizes, and painting large-scale props of velociraptors!
Dinosaur studies also provide great opportunities to learn and use great language that is transferable to other areas. Children learn about size, scale, texture, colour, anatomy, as well as tapping into other areas such as geography and science. With fascinating facts, crafts and sensory stations, Dinosaur Club sparks the imagination and curiosity in children and allows them to travel centuries into the past to a lost time when dinosaurs roamed the earth.
