Gymnastics
Kspace gymnastics classes include a lead-in and wind-down, plus 50 minutes of English gymnastics at a fast pace, packed with training, conditioning, team building challenges and games.
We work on the main areas of gymnastics such as roles, cartwheels and handstands as well as training vault, balancing and coordination! Naturally, we focus on safety and each term begins with a slow lead into activities, plus conditioning and exercises for children to get them physically prepared and more capable.
Classes are perfect for increasing self confidence as well as pushing abilities within a fun environment.
We value exercise more generally for the development of young people’s wellbeing. Our classes offer a safe and fun environment for everyone to explore their body’s potential and build confidence.
The children will be covering:
- Balance
- Posture
- Rolling and Tumbling skills
- Following Direction
- Safety
- A variety of moves with professional school gym equipment
Using a combination of open mat exercises, floor work and specially purchased gym equipment, we will aim to make the children more confident and inspired to continue with sports of many types.
