Intergalactic Art Course

This course combined art, sci-fi magic and some great scientific background!

Our inter-galactic leaders guided little star warriors on an unforgettable journey week-by-week, light-hopping from one fantastic star/planet to the next.

CONTENT

This course brought many children’s favourite elements together:

• They learnt about the beauty and wonder of the solar system, looking at one special planet or astronomical feature per week, worked as a group with their teacher as a guide
• They discussed their topic and recreated some of the details that they discussed as a group and with paper/pen expression. They learnt some fab (and almost unbelievable facts about the solar system (science/astronomy)
• Each child had the opportunity to express the subject in their own way through art, using a very wide range of art materials
• Each class ended with a look at some amazing photos taken from various famous satellites plus some quick fun facts to wet the children’s appetites for the next thrilling class
